The Glass Extension Co. builds glass extensions for homes across the UK. They build frameless ones, aluminium ones, winter garden extensions, and glazed extensions for commercial buildings.
A glass extension is built to fit one house, so every job starts with the same question. How big is the space? Answering it takes a call, and often a visit, before anyone can draw anything.
The configurator asks it on the website instead. The buyer picks wall mounted or freestanding, and says which wall it sits against. Then they set the width, the depth and the height in metres, and tilt the roof. They choose standard Low E glass or solar control glass, and pick the colour. Sliding or hinged doors go on the front, the left or the right. The extension redraws in 3D as they go, and they can view it in AR. When the design looks right the buyer sends it, and sales gets the exact spec.
