Inside Sonne ins Haus's live 3D pergola configurator.
Sonne ins Haus makes pergolas, terrace roofs and shading to order, and sells them online. In the configurator a buyer picks the roof, then sets the width, projection and height in metres.

The shift
Before the configurator vs after.
- No 3D view of the roof at the buyer's own size.
- Mounting, roof material and colour explained in words.
- Extras like heating and lighting hard to picture.
- A live 3D configurator the buyer drives on the site.
- Width, projection and height set inside the real limits.
- A quote request sent from the design the buyer built.
Sonne ins Haus makes pergolas, terrace roofs, summer gardens and shading. Every piece is made to order. They sell online.
The configurator shows the Sonne Cube Z240. The buyer first says how it stands, freestanding or attached to the house. Then comes the roof: an aluminium panel, a glass roof, a photovoltaic module, or a roof awning.
Size is next. Width, projection and height each move inside a set range. The screen prints the limits in metres. Width runs from 2 to 20.7 m. Projection runs from 2 to 3 m, and height from 2.5 to 3.5 m. So nobody can ask for a size the screen does not allow.
Then the finish. Colour comes in a standard set and a premium set. The choice covers the structure, the roof and the ceiling. After that the buyer can add a housing, heaters, lights and other add-ons. At the bottom the screen shows a price range with VAT included. A button asks for a quote.
The configurator is part of the broader SaleSqueze platform that runs the 3D rendering, the pricing rules, the branded quote, and the deep links into the customer’s CRM and ad pixels.
