eComposite makes composite fencing from recycled materials, plus trellis, gates and garden screens. Their showroom is in Aldridge, near Walsall.
The 3D configurator on their own site starts with the panels. The buyer picks horizontal or vertical slats, a Classic or Venetian style, a decorative top such as Autumn Life or Japanese Garden, and one of seven woodgrain or sanded finishes. Then they choose the posts, the post colour and how the fence is fixed. Next comes the shape: a single line, an L, a U or a fully enclosed run, with the length and height set side by side. Post cap, horizontal and vertical LED lights, end posts, wall posts and gates go on last. The fence redraws in 3D at every step, and it can be placed in the real garden in AR.
When the design looks right the buyer asks for installation, a survey or fence removal, and sends the request with the full spec already written down.
